Support for Royal College of Art MA Ceramics Student
The Trust was really pleased to be able to support Royal College of Art Masters Ceramics student Beril Nur Denli when she approached us about bodies and glazes for her June ’24 final MA Exhibition. We were able to make a contribution to a significant purchase of raw materials from a UK supplier, which enabled Beril to realise her ambitious designs.
Trustee Peter Barnes was invited to the public opening at the impressive RCA building in Battersea, where he was able to meet Beril and learn more about her complex and highly personal handbuilt pieces.
In a letter of thanks to the trustees, Beril wrote “I’m deeply grateful for invaluable Pottery Mechanics Institute Trust Fund support for making this show possible. This experience has been truly inspiring”
